Lumina Quartz Privacy Policy

Overview

Lumina Quartz LLC operates this application for its own marketing operations. We use approved third-party integrations to manage original branded content and to identify and respond to relevant public community discussions. We do not sell personal data or provide Reddit data to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Reddit Data and OAuth

With authorization from the Lumina Quartz Reddit account owner and any required approval from Reddit, the application may use Reddit OAuth and the Reddit Data API with the identity, read, and submit scopes. These permissions are used to confirm the connected account, read relevant public posts and comments, retrieve thread context for quality and safety checks, and publish approved helpful replies from the connected account.

The application currently does not use automated voting, vote manipulation, or bulk direct messaging. Any future private-communication feature would require the applicable Reddit permission, explicit user consent, separate review, and appropriate rate and abuse controls.

How We Use Reddit Data

We use Reddit data only to discover relevant discussions, evaluate whether a response is appropriate, generate a contextual draft, prevent duplicate replies, audit publishing status, and comply with Reddit rules. We do not use Reddit data to infer sensitive characteristics, identify people off Reddit, or train a general-purpose AI model.

TikTok Data We Access

With the user's authorization, the app uses user.info.basic to read basic profile information such as Open ID, avatar, and display name. This is used only to confirm which TikTok account is connected.

The app uses video.upload to upload an approved MP4 video to the connected TikTok account as a draft. The account owner completes final edits and posting inside TikTok.

How We Use TikTok Data

We use TikTok profile data only inside this operator tool for account confirmation, authorization status, and audit logs. We use upload permissions only to send a selected brand-approved video to TikTok Drafts.

Sharing and Sale of Data

We do not sell TikTok or Reddit user data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Limited service providers may process data only when necessary to operate the application, subject to contractual and security controls.

Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely on our server for the purpose of maintaining an authorized connection. Operational records may contain limited post and comment identifiers, URLs, content needed for the approved workflow, and non-sensitive status information. We retain this information only for the approved business purpose, auditing, safety, and troubleshooting, and delete it when it is no longer necessary, when the account is disconnected, when Reddit requests deletion, or when required by applicable law. A connected account owner may revoke access through Reddit or request deletion by contacting us.

Security and Compliance

We use OAuth tokens rather than collecting Reddit passwords, restrict access to authorized operators, and apply rate limits and duplicate-content checks. We do not attempt to bypass Reddit safety mechanisms, account restrictions, or API limits. All automated activity is subject to Reddit’s applicable terms, policies, and community rules.
